Our new course for June is now online: Sacred Sites and How to Find Them.

The Kogi Mamos share ancient wisdom about the spiritual connections between plants, stones, and the land and how rituals help maintain balance.
This course invites you to rediscover the sacred sites around you, to care for them, and to understand their role in peace and connection!

You can now directly ask the Elders!

If you have a question you’d like to ask the wisdom keepers, please enter it on the bottom right of the screen, you can see a small question mark. We will gather the questions and do our best to ask them the next time we meet with the indigenous elders, creating new interviews and videos based on their insights. While we will make every effort to include as many questions as possible, we cannot guarantee that every question will be answered.

TWA Platform is launching

Welcome! We are starting a silent launch of the platform, as we are still on our journey with the Kogi. But we are so happy the platform is now online :-)

There are still some small optimizations in the works and we will improve the platform over the coming weeks.

We are really happy to see you here and are looking forward to our journey together!

Why Course Progress Is Not Synced Between Languages

1 min read

All of our courses are available in both English and German – but your course progress does not transfer between the two versions.

If you switch languages while taking a course, it may look like your progress is lost. This is not a bug, but a limitation of how the platform currently works.

How Our Platform Is Designed #

To support both languages, each course is set up as two separate versions: one in English and one in German. Even though the content is the same, these versions are treated as independent courses.

That means:

  • Your lesson completions, quiz results, and video watch status are saved only in the version you’re currently using
  • If you switch languages, you’re accessing a fresh copy of the same course — with no previous progress

What Happens If You Switch Languages Mid-Course? #

  • The progress bar resets
  • Lessons appear incomplete
  • Quizzes and certificates are not transferred
  • It may feel like you’ve “lost” progress — but you’re just in the other language’s version

How to Use the Platform Effectively #

Until we support progress syncing between languages, we recommend:

  1. Choose your language before starting a course
Stick to English or German based on your preference.
  2. Don’t switch languages mid-course
To avoid confusion, complete the course in the language you started with.
  3. Bookmark the correct version of the site

Will This Change? #

We’re working on a solution to sync course progress across languages in the future.
For now, we’ve disabled the language switcher inside lesson pages to avoid accidental confusion.
